Global Markets

The Global Markets team oversees Utah international representatives, conducts familiarization tours with travel agents and media to educate on visitation to the state, and participates in domestic international-based travel industry conferences and shows. In addition, the team creates the office Travel Guide in multiple languages, assists organizations and companies in translation services, participates in partnerships with national travel organizations, and assists in co-operative marketing opportunities.

IPW 2026

The Utah Office of Tourism attended IPW 2026 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida from May 19 to 22. UOT conducted more than 150 travel trade meetings throughout the conference in addition to more than 20 media meetings during the IPW Media Marketplace. Multiple DMO partners from throughout the state also attended IPW to represent Utah, including Visit Salt Lake, Discover Moab, San Juan County, Capitol Reef Country, Greater Zion, Bryce Canyon Country, Basecamp Kanab, Visit Park City, Wittwer Hospitality, Moab Adventure Center, Ruby's Inn, Southwest Adventure Tours, Grand America, Kanab Tour Company, America4You, Gravity Haus, Cable Mountain Lodge, the LDS Church, and Explore Logan.

Utah also earned a press conference slot, allowing us to speak to hundreds of media from around the globe. This year, we invited Liz Nagengast-Stevens, the park manager at Fremont Indian State Park & Museum, to speak to the media about our state's incredible state parks. The response was enthusiastic, and it was wonderful to showcase the kinds of experiences that can be had at our state parks.
