The Utah Office of Tourism's Cooperative Marketing Grant is designed to help local counties, Destination Marketing Organizations, non-profit attractions and events, federally recognized tribes and municipalities amplify their tourism advertising efforts and attract out-of-state visitors.

UOT recently held interviews with 63 partners over three days during the Cooperative Marketing Grant interviews. This grant is designed to help local counties, Destination Marketing Organizations, non-profit attractions and events, federally recognized tribes and municipalities amplify their tourism advertising efforts and attract out-of-state visitors.
Many thanks to the committee members Lesha Coltharp, Joan Hammer, Alison Harford, AnnDee Mead, Jessica Merrill, Jordan Smith, and Kevin Smith for their time in reading applications, conduct the interviews in person, and fairly fund projects that will have a positive impact on the communities of Utah.
Grant recipients will be announced at the Board of Tourism Development meeting August 14, 2026, in Garden City. A virtual viewing option, along with the agenda, will be posted closer to the date.

EDA ARPA Grants
To boost the recovery of the tourism industry, the Economic Development Administration allocated $750 million as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Utah was granted $3,768,641 in September 2021, which has been invested in thirty-one subgrantee projects statewide and six key initiatives. These funds are helping to strengthen Utah’s tourism and support local communities
