Partner Highlights Blog:
Beaver County

As part of our ongoing state tourism partner visits, we spent March 26-27 in Beaver County, a region strategically leveraging high-volume transit traffic to fuel destination development.
A highlight of the local economic momentum is The Creamery, which now generates $10 million in revenue, employs 95 people, and successfully champions a "Utah Sourced" artisan brand throughout the West. Building on this foundation, Beaver County is proactively working to convert highway travelers into multi-day visitors. We met with the local Chamber of Commerce, ATV Club members, and community leaders, all of whom are focused on highlighting tourism’s economic vitality.
Furthermore, the county is planning the revitalization of heritage assets, such as their 88-year-old racetrack and rodeo grounds. They are collaborating with partners to transform these historical sites into premier regional attractions.
Regarding outdoor recreation, Beaver County continues to enhance the Minersville Reservoir Campground with the support of several Outdoor Recreation Grants. Trail development also remains a priority; the 11-mile Beaver Bench system and Eagle Point’s expanding network currently draw 3,000 youth competitors for seasonal NICA races, alongside mountain bikers and trail runners. Additionally, the county has acquired Puffer Lake and is evaluating the best ways to utilize the property for outdoor enthusiasts.
