Partner with the Utah Office of Tourism to enhance your out-of-state marketing with up to $225,000 in matching funds. Eligible organizations can allocate a portion of these funds to in-state marketing, promoting your project while strengthening Utah's brand.

The Utah Office of Tourism Awards Over $4.1 Million to Local Tourism Organizations


The Utah Board of Tourism Development has approved over $4.1 million in Cooperative Marketing Program funds for 54 tourism organizations and travel-related nonprofits across 25 counties in the state.

The Co-op Marketing Program's goal is to leverage state and partner dollars to attract visitors and expand the tourism economy. A total of 58 applications were received for the program, with a total of $6,015,467 requested in funds. The total award amount available was $4,157,525. A total of 54 applications were recommended for funding, with a total awarded amount of $4,156,912. 

“The Co-operative Marketing Program continues to be a strategic key investment from the Utah Office of Tourism, aimed at supporting local tourism initiatives and empowering communities to lead their visitor economies in alignment with local priorities," said Natalie Randall, managing director of the Utah Office of Tourism and Film.

EDA ARPA Grants 
To boost the recovery of the tourism industry, the Economic Development Administration allocated $750 million as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Utah was granted $3,768,641 in September 2021, which has been invested in thirty-one subgrantee projects statewide and six key initiatives. These funds are helping to strengthen Utah’s tourism and support local communities
