The Communication Team oversees five communication channels: public relations, consumer website, digital marketing, publications, and social media. Using these channels, we aim to provide consumers with the information they are looking for as well as inspire them to discover new destinations and experiences statewide.
Additionally, the communication team uses these channels to nuance and personalize the Agency’s primary marketing campaigns by providing relevant information targeted to the many diverse groups of visitors to Utah.
Domestic Public Relations Advisory Committee | The objective of the Domestic Public Relations Advisory Committee is to secure editorial coverage in targeted publications reinforcing positive attributes of travel within Utah while promoting Utah’s activities and destinations. To achieve this goal, we will: Create an inspiring, entertaining and ever-growing body of Utah travel content for distribution among multiple mediums; Create a forum to keep communication lines open between UOT and DMOs/CVBs; Collaborate and brainstorm ideas to attract media attention; Use UOT as a resource for public relations; Create a cohesive travel voice for Utah’s tourism PR.
