Amsterdam direct flight increases Utah’s international accessibility.
To further support the nonstop flight beginning on May 1, 2015, between Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), the Utah Office of Tourism, together with four statewide DMO partners, executed a sales mission this March.
Over the course of the two-day mission, the delegation met with several key tour operators in Amsterdam and spread the word about this exciting new Delta nonstop.
During these meetings, the team discussed the timing of the new flight, the great accessibility of downtown Salt Lake City on arrival at the airport, as well as the amazing assets waiting to be explored throughout the state.
All passengers aboard the inaugural flight from Amsterdam to Salt Lake City on May 1 will receive Utah-branded welcome bags, Delta luggage tags, Dutch and American flag pins and Utah travel books to help ensure that travelers staying in Utah will get the most out of their experience.
